Giving Back: Support Henderson Police Honor Guard at Charity Tournament

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 8, 2017)–Here’s your chance to play a little golf and give back to those who have sacrificed to help keep us safe. The 6th Annual HPD Golf Tournament will be held at The Legacy Golf Club on May 6, 2017. The tournament will be an 18-hole, four-person scramble with a 7:30 shotgun start. UNLV Golf Freshman Justin Chong Wins SNGA Henderson Amateur

Justin Chong, who is in his second year with the UNLV golf team, shot two rounds of 70 to finish at 4-under par and won the championship division of the Southern Nevada Golf Association Henderson Amateur played at Revere Golf Club. Former UNLV All-American and PGA Tour player Edward Fryatt finished two shots behind Chong at 2-under par. Keegan Brasch, Derek Castillo and Yash Majmudar tied for third at 4-over par. Northern Ladies Earn Big Victory at Silver Cup in Boulder City

Las Vegas Country Club Members Vote to Sell Historic Club

Las Vegas, Nev. (Sept. 30, 2016)–According to members, the final tally is in for the vote to sell the historic Las Vegas Country Club to a partnership made up of Discovery Land and Wolff Company and they have voted to sell. In May 2015, 72 percent of members voted to “explore a sale” and many potential buyers lined up for a chance to own the club that opened in 1967 as The Las Vegas International Country Club. Mr. 58 Jim Furyk Also Knows How to Score Low in Las Vegas
