Las Vegas, Nevada (January 25, 2012)--The TPC Las Vegas is a Las Vegas resort course that is owned and operated by the PGA Tour. It is known as the home of pro golf in Las Vegas because it is a former host of events on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. In addition, many Tour pros who live in the Las Vegas practice at the course on a daily basis. Las Vegas, Nevada (September 17, 2012)--In 2011, Michael Jordan moved his A-list celebrity golf tournament--the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational--to prestigious Las Vegas golf course Shadow Creek. It was the first time Shadow Creek had ever opened to a public event. Now comes word that the event is officially gearing up for 2012 with March 29-April 1 being announced as the dates. It is appropriate when the namesake of the Las Vegas PGA Tour event earns the show's Big Help Award in part for his work with Las Vegas' Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. That was the case for NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Ryan who played the PGA Tour-owned TPC Las Vegas on Monday with Las Vegas Golf Region resident, and PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour golfer Bob May. Las Vegas, Nevada (February 7, 2011)--TPC Las Vegas is one of two Las Vegas golf courses that is owned and operated by the PGA Tour, and recently it hosted the 12th Annual National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) Celebrity Golf Tournament sponsored by Canon. In all the tournament and event prior helped raised more than $380,000 bringing the 12-year total to more than $5 million. TPC Las Vegas is known as the "home of pro golf in Las Vegas" because the PGA Tour and Champions Tour have played there plus many of the tour pros who live in Las Vegas play and practice at the course. --Staff Report.
