With the nation's best college golf teams descending on Las Vegas golf course Southern Highlands Golf Club March 9-11, it is the perfect time for the UNLV Mens Golf team, headed by Hall-of-Fame coach Dwaine Knight, to showcase the best of the program. A recent article in VegasGolfer Magazine went into detail about the "foundation" of Rebel golf that includes the mental, the physical, the golf and academics. Each "foundation" of Rebel golf is headed by experienced experts, and allows the Rebel team to maintain maximum focus. As Knight says, "The goal is to provide the players a program that allows them to compete at the highest levels in all phases, and to get an education and win a national championship." Physical Therapist Keith Kleven, Mental Coach Dr. Mark Guadagnoli, Rebel Assistant Coach Andy Bischel and Knight are the leaders of the foundation. |
