May 5, 2008--Spanish Trail Golf and Country Club is hosting the Lon Kruger Open “Going Down Under” Charity Golf Tournament on Wednesday, May 21. The Club’s members will play in the exclusive 18-hole scramble tournament for $1,000 per entry and enjoy a shotgun start followed by cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and awards at the clubhouse. The tournament raises funds to help send the UNLV basketball team to Australia to participate in an international basketball tournament. As the 2008 Mountain West Champions, the Runnin’ Rebels will get the opportunity to play against world-class professional basketball teams; providing a unique experience to face new opponents in high-level competition. |

The tournament kicks off Tuesday, May 13 at TPC Summerlin, home of the PGA Tour in Las Vegas, with foursomes competing against some of the best coaching talent in the nation. Range, cart and green fees are included for all golfers as well as gift bags and on-course meals throughout the two-day event. March 25, 2008--TPC Las Vegas has hosted PGA Tour and Champions Tour events, and is an 18-hole championship, Las Vegas golf course designed by PGA Tour Design Services (with lead designer Bobby Weed) and player consultant Raymond Floyd. Past champions of Las Vegas golf events played at the course include Jim Colbert, Hale Irwin, Jim Furyk, Stuart Appleby and many other of the world's best players. And the best thing is that the course is open to anyone, and because of that and the course's great history, many organizations choose to hold benefit events at TPC Las Vegas (formerly TPC Canyons). March 21, 2008--The World Series of Golf is a unique event that combines the savvy, skills and luck of both golf and poker, and returns to Las Vegas for the second annual event, this time at the fabulous Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, the home of three Pete Dye Las Vegas golf courses.
