November 13, 2009--The two Las Vegas golf courses at Primm Valley Golf Club are among the best in the Las Vegas Golf Region, and now you can play them in the inaugural Primm Valley Winter Classic Pro-Am, January 10-12, 2010. This Las Vegas golf tournament will include a team of five, including one golf professional and four amateurs. Each team must have a professional and all amateurs must have an official USGA handicap. The event is open to all local and resort Las Vegas golfers.

October 22, 2009--The Las Vegas Golf Region is made up of more than 60 world class golf courses, designed by the biggest names in golf. Nicklaus, Fazio, Dye, Jones, Palmer are just a few of the names that have etched their golf design magic in the Las Vegas desert. October 2, 2009--The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open presents a Youth Clinic 2-3 p.m. Sunday, October 11 at TPC Summerlin. Hosted by Justin Timberlake and Butch Harmon, young golfers will learn the fundamentals of the game through a demonstration of basic skills and techniques. September 30, 2009--The Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge is returning on November 10 to Las Vegas golf course Rio Secco Golf Club for the second year-in-a-row, and the same Champions Tour team is scheduled to be back to defend the title. Golf legends Nick Price, Fred Funk and Jay Haas won last year over the LPGA Tour and PGA Tour teams, and are looking for more. And Las Vegas resident Natalie Gulbis is scheduled to once again play on the LPGA Tour team that was officially announced. August 1, 2009--The 3rd Annual Las Vegas Paiute Amateur Golf Classic returns to the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort September 5-6, 2009, and is open to all Las Vegas golfers, visiting and local. This Las Vegas golf event will be played on the Snow Mountain course, the original of the three Pete Dye Las Vegas golf courses at the resort. April 20, 2009--The beginnings of the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship can be traced back to Las Vegas because many years ago, the event was held under the lights at Las Vegas National Golf Club and the owner, Art Sellinger, is a former Las Vegas resident. The event then moved to its current home in Mesquite, Nev. (77 miles from Las Vegas), and now local and regional qualifying sites have been announced. Qualifiers can earn a spot in the Finals that will be held October 25-30, 2009. There are at least 110 local qualifying sites in 10 regions in the United States, with more around the world.
