UNLV Rebel golf star, junior Jarred Texter, has been named Co-Golfer of the Month by the Mountain West Conference along with Colorado State player Aaron Weston. Texter had top 10 finishes a the PING Arizona Intercollegiate and the Burns Invitational in Hawaii. |

Las Vegas Golf UNLV Rebels Ranked Seventh In Nation |

The UNLV Mens Golf Team is ranked seventh in the Golfweek national rankings as of March 1, and number 8 in the Golfstat rankings. The top-ranked team in the nation is Florida in the Golfweek poll and Stanford in the Golfstat poll. The Rebels can be seen practicing at many of Las Vegas' best golf courses including Southern Highlands, their home course, Shadow Creek, TPC Summerlin, Cascata, Rio Secco, Bali Hai Golf Club and Las Vegas Country Club. |

University of Nevada, Las Vegas Golf Team Slips In Final Round of Burns |

The seventh-ranked UNLV Rebels Mens Golf Team entered the final round with the lead at the Burns Invitational but stumpled and finished second behind the University of Texas. The event was played at the Leilehua Golf Club in Hawaii. Rebel junior Jared Texter was the best UNLV finisher with his sixth place-finish. |

Unfortunately, Danny Gans (The Mirage headliner) and Tim Herron missed the Pro-Am cut at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, but Gans was one of the featured celebrities--maybe the most featured--during CBS' telecast of Saturday's third-round. Gans and Herron missed the cut by three strokes, even with a solid round of 66 in the third round. The 66 joined a first-round 66 and a second round 69.
