Dave Pelz Scoring Game Highlights Upcoming Events at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

The Dave Pelz Scoring Game School experts will be at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort April 24-28. Dave Pelz has created this school, and has taught the repeatable golf swing to his experts who will bring that knowledge to the Las Vegas area at one of Las Vegas' finest golf resorts. The school will focus on putting, distance wedges, chipping, pitching and sand play. "How you play inside of 100 yards is a prime determinant of how you score," says Pelz. "60-65 percent of total golf shots are distance wedges, pitching, chipping, sand play and putting." Other events at the course are the Easter Brunch April 8, the Lynn Blake Golf Academy May 4-6, Mothers Day Brunch May 13, and the 19th Annual Snow Mountain Pow Wow May 26-27.

The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is the home of three Pete Dye-designed golf courses, Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and The Wolf. Each are terrific, and feature unique golf course characteristics. Sun Mountain was the second course created, and plays a little friendlier than the Snow and Sun--in our opinion--and features native wildlife throughout the holes, and trademark Dye railroad ties throughout that decorate the holes and bunkers.

The Wolf is the sternest test at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, and the holes and fairways have more challenging bunkers and mounding, and the par 3, 15th hole is an island green that makes every golfer's jaw drop.
