The Dave Pelz Scoring Game School experts will be at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort April 24-28. Dave Pelz has created this school, and has taught the repeatable golf swing to his experts who will bring that knowledge to the Las Vegas area at one of Las Vegas' finest golf resorts. The school will focus on putting, distance wedges, chipping, pitching and sand play. "How you play inside of 100 yards is a prime determinant of how you score," says Pelz. "60-65 percent of total golf shots are distance wedges, pitching, chipping, sand play and putting." Other events at the course are the Easter Brunch April 8, the Lynn Blake Golf Academy May 4-6, Mothers Day Brunch May 13, and the 19th Annual Snow Mountain Pow Wow May 26-27.
The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is the home of three Pete Dye-designed golf courses, Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and The Wolf. Each are terrific, and feature unique golf course characteristics. Snow Mountain was the first course, and is home to wide fairways, challenging bunkers and the nice par 3, 16th hole that plays over water to a green backdropped by the mountains. The events in Las Vegas are all one-day clinics that will definitely take your game to another level. Dave Pelz Golf’s foremost authority on the short game and putting, Dave Pelz has committed his working life to research and teaching, to help golfers worldwide lower their scores. With his uniquely analytical approach to the game, the former NASA scientist has proven that improving skills within 100 yards of the hole is the fastest route to lowering handicaps and has designed instruction to teach those shots properly."About 80 percent of the shots golfers lose to par occur in the that distance range (110 yards and in)," says Pelz. "My putting and wedge clinics are designed, and constantly refined through research, to improve a golfer's execution of these shots and build your improvement with proper practice." More Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort Event information Sun Mountain was the second course created, and plays a little friendlier than the Snow and Sun--in our opinion--and features native wildlife throughout the holes, and trademark Dye railroad ties throughout that decorate the holes and bunkers. The Wolf #15 The Wolf is the sternest test at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, and the holes and fairways have more challenging bunkers and mounding, and the par 3, 15th hole is an island green that makes every golfer's jaw drop. All Las Vegas Golf Course Tee Time and Golf Package information ...
