April 29, 2007--Golf is a serious game at times (ask the USGA), but we can't forget that the game can also be a lot of fun, especially when played in the "World's Most Exciting Golf Destination" as VegasGolfer Magazine calls Las Vegas. Celebrities from all walks of film, television, sports and music tee it up on Las Vegas golf courses on a daily basis, but a very unique pairing took place at Las Vegas golf course TPC Canyons for a segment on Get Golf on USA Network, hosted by John O' Hurley of Seinfeld fame who now plays King Arthur in Monty Python's Spamalot here at the fabulous Wynn Resort in Las Vegas. And through the magic of You Tube, you can view the short, fun-filled Elvis and O' Hurley moments now.
Elvis and O' Hurley get all shook up
Las Vegas golf course TPC Canyons is a host course of the Las Vegas PGA Tour event, the FRYS.com Open played annually in October. The defending champion of the tournament is Troy Matteson. Tiger Woods won his first PGA Tour event here in Las Vegas in 1996. O' Hurley is an avid golfer, and was recently the cover feature of the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Golfing Las Vegas section. See the Las Vegas Review-Journal story here. In another clip from the television show, O' Hurley hits a bad shot, and then Elvis comments, "That was in Heartbreak Hotel." More Elvis and O' Hurley from the TPC Canyons famous second hole, a tough par 3. Comprehensive Las Vegas Golf Course information
