 Charley Hoffman May 2, 2007--The Wachovia Championship Pro-Am was played today, and two golfers with Las Vegas golf ties stole the show. Tiger Woods, who annually hosts the Tiger Jam in Las Vegas and won his first PGA Tour event here, teed it up with Michael Jordan, a regular at Las Vegas golf course Shadow Creek. The six are led by Charley Hoffman, who earlier this year won the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, and Adam Scott, one of the best players in the world.LIVE SCORING
Dean Wilson, who lives here, Ryan Moore and Charley Hoffman (former UNLV stars and current residents), Adam Scott and Chad Campbell (former UNLV stars) and Robert Gamez, who grew up in Las Vegas, are the contingent representing the 11 Las Vegas pros who enjoy exempt status on the PGA Tour. And three-time Las Vegas PGA Tour Champion Jim Furyk is the defending champion of the Wachovia event.
