UNLV Junior CJ Gatto May 16, 2007--The University of Nevada, Las Vegas golf team is heading into the NCAA Western Regionals for the 19th-straight year, looking to qualify for the NCAA Finals and win the school's second national championship, and the first since that fateful year of 1998 when UNLV was led by current PGA Tour star Charley Hoffman and Nationwide Tour player Jeremy Anderson. The event kicks will be played May 17-19. Nine of the top 22 teams in the country are in the West regionals, and UNLV is the number three seed behind Stanford (#2 nationally by Golfweek) and UCLA. The Rebels five-player lineup features juniors CJ Gatto and Jared Texter, sophomores Seung-su Han and Eddie Olson, and freshman Brett Kanda.
