Las Vegas, Nevada (July 2, 2012)--With Tiger Woods winning his third PGA Tour event of the 2012 season, the Las Vegas betting public and experts are moving quickly. According to Jeff Sherman, the founder of Las Vegas' GolfOdds.com, Woods' Vegas betting odds have been slashed in half for the British Open Championship, from 10/1 to 5/1. Las Vegas, Nevada (June 27, 2012)--Tiger Woods, despite not playing well over the weekend at the U.S. Open, still opened as the Las Vegas betting favorite for the AT&T National. Tiger opened 11/2 followed by Hunter Mahan (12/1), and Dustin Johnson and Jim Furyk, both 15/1. Las Vegas, Nevada (June 19, 2012)--Webb Simpson sat and watched while the field of the 2012 U.S. Open couldn't close the deal. Now he heads into the 2012 Travelers Championship at 15/1 to win. But the Las Vegas PGA Tour betting experts say that sometimes there is too much pressure on a U.S. Champ to do well the week following the victory. Tiger fired a 75 in the 3rd round and is well off the leaders, Graeme McDowell and Jim Furyk. Those are two of the steadiest players in all of golf so it appears a golf miracle will need to happen for Tiger to lift major trophy fifteen.
