Pro Golf Las Vegas Betting Report: The Odds Must Go On in Malaysia, Shanghai

Las Vegas, Nevada (October 25, 2011)--Despite the official 2011 PGA Tour schedule being complete, there are still plenty of golf tournaments taking place across the globe over the next few weeks. The first two events are the Shanghia Masters and an event sanctioned by the PGA Tour in Malaysia. Rory McIlroy is 9/2 to win the Shanghia event while Brandt Snedeker, Ben Crane, Ryan Moore, and Camilo Villegas opened at 15/1 and the favorites of the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia. Read on for more odds from both of these tournaments.

"The CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in Malaysia is actually a PGA Tour event," says Sherman, who also serves as the assistant director of the Las Vegas Hilton Superbook. "The field is comprised of 48 golers with many recognizable names and will be easy to follow, barring the time difference.  There is also a quality field in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai Masters.  Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood head the list of 23 golfers in this limited field event that is a prep tournament for next week's WGC-HSBC Champions tournament (also in Shanghai).  The only challenge in making odds for these tournaments is placing odds on the golfers with less players involved, this reducing their odds and maintaing a fair hold percentage.  Most matchups will look similar to those we have seen throught the year, such as McIlroy vs Westwood in China and Snedeker vs Crane in Malaysia."
