Las Vegas, Nevada (August 14, 2012)--It might be tough to find a truly compelling feature about the 2012 Wyndham Championship, but some of the world's best golfers are ready to tee it up. Among them are Jason Dufner and Webb Simpson, who opened at 12/1. According to the Las Vegas PGA Tour golf betting experts, they were the co-favorites to win the tournament. --By Brian Hurlburt, odds by Jeff Sherman

Las Vegas Golf Region residents Nick Watney and Ryan Moore were 30/1 and 40/1 respectfully. Other notables included David Toms at 30/1 and John Daly at 60/1. Daly is coming off his best finish on the PGA Tour in several years.

Bolton writes the following about Pettersson, who was assessed an infamous two-stroke penalty in the final round of the 2012 PGA Championship: "Winner at Sedgefield in its return in 2008. Also shared fourth last year. Held the 18-hole lead at Kiawah Island last week before finishing with a share of third place, his fourth top-three of the season. Co-owns the course record (61, 2008)."
