Las Vegas, Nevada (November 29, 2013)--It's the day after Thanksgiving in Las Vegas, and the high today will be about 62 degrees with blue skies. Perfect conditions to play golf, and many locals and visitors are doing just that on the quality golf courses located here. Las Vegas National Golf Club Offers History Minutes From Strip

Las Vegas, Nevada (July 18, 2013)--Las Vegas National Golf Club is one of the most historic golf courses in Las Vegas. The course opened in 1961 --as the Stardust CC -- and that year hosted the LPGA Championship, a major on the LPGA Tour. Over the years the course has hosted the Sahara Invitational, the Las Vegas Invitational, and the Tournament of Champions on the PGA Tour. The course is located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and these days offers a friendly and affordable golf option on a course decorated with hundreds of shade trees and character. Golfweek Names Best Las Vegas Golf Courses to Lists

Image March 22, 2009--Las Vegas continues to be recognized as a quality golf destination, as several Las Vegas golf region courses have been saluted by Golfweek for excellence on the esteemed publication's Best of Lists. Tom Fazio's Shadow Creek Golf Club is listed at number 10 on Golfweek's Best Modern (post 1960) list and the private Southern Highlands Golf Club is at number 75. On the Best of Nevada public-access list, there are 13 Las Vegas golf courses listed among the best 15 golf courses in the state, including nine Las Vegas golf courses that are official partners of and that have direct access from this website.
