UNLas Vegas Lady Rebel Golfer Plays Internationally

March 29, 2007–UNLV freshman Natasha Krishna was part of New Zealand team that finished fourth in the 29th Queen Sirikit Cup for the Amateur Ladies Asia-Pacific Invitational Golf Team Championship in 2007 which was played in the Philippines. Korea won the tournament with a three-round score of 414 (-18), followed by the Phillipines (434, +2), Japan (435, +3) and then New Zealand (441, +9). The Queen Sirikit Cup featured teams from 14 Asia-Pacific countries including Australia, China, Japan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and New Zealand.

UNLV Rebels Win Prestigious Golf Event

March 28, 2007-The nationally-ranked UNLV Rebel Mens Golf Team won the prestigious Morris Williams Intercollegiate played at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas, by six shots ahead of Tulsa and Texas A&M. It marked UNLV's second team title of the spring and the fifth top-five finish of the season. "We have had a chance to win every tournament this spring, and that is the litmus test of this program, putting ourselves in a position to win," UNLV Head Coach Dwaine Knight said.
