PGA Tour Shot of the Day By Ryan Moore Amazing Way To Kick Off Promotion

Las Vegas, Nevada (March 23, 2012)--Las Vegas Golf Region resident Ryan Moore had the shot of the day at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Moore aced the 201-yard, par 3, 7th hole. Moore used a 5-iron and the hole-in-one moved him to 1-under par for the day at the time. Davis Love III Fired a 64 at the Honda Classic and Won the 1993 Las Vegas Invitational

But Davis Love III won the 1993 Las Vegas Invitational, and also lost to Tiger Woods in a playoff at the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational. Love III fired a 29-under par in 1993 to win by eight shots, the largest margin in tourney history. Tickets are now on sale for the 2012 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Watney is now an official Las Vegas golfer--along with about two dozen other Tour stars--and his latest claim to fame is taking down Tiger Woods in what Watney described as an "away" match. Las Vegas, Nevada (January 16, 2012)--Gary Woodland made his debut in Las Vegas at the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge late in 2011. The event is annually played in November at Las Vegas golf course Rio Secco Golf Club, which is also the home course of the Butch Harmon School of Golf. One of the evening highlights came when former United States Marine Thom Blinkinsop was honored as the 2011 Golf Professional of the Year. Las Vegas PGA of America Pro Chris Cain Earns Prestigious Honor

Las Vegas, Nevada (January 11, 2012)--Chris Cain will become the first PGA of America professional from the Southern Nevada Chapter to be named Southwest Section PGA of America Professional of the Year. The honor will be officially bestowed opon him on January 13 at a ceremony in Arizona.
