September 15, 2008--Cascata is one of the best Las Vegas golf courses, and when it opened several years ago, a Sports Illustrated writer dubbed it "Golf's hidden treasure." Back then, Cascata, one of two Rees Jones-designed Las Vegas golf courses, was only open to a privileged few high rollers and invited guests, but soon after the opening, Harrah's Entertainment purchased the course from MGM Mirage and loosened up the restrictions on who could play it. But one thing that remains is that when you do tee it up at Cascata--Italian for water fall-- you will indeed feel like you are playing a treasure, and fortunately for us golfers it's not as 'hidden' as it once was.
