Fans are reaching out to Las Vegas resident and the PGA Tour's newest star Charley Hoffman. Emails are pouring in to PGATOUR.com, and Hoffman is the talk of the national media.
Jeff Snow wrote, "Way to play Charley–the first of many more to come. The TOUR needs more dudes like you!"
National TV/radio personality Jim Rome is also showing Hoffman a lot of love by "pimping" (that's a good thing, by the way) him on his radio and television shows, and referring to Hoffman's long blond hair as "lettuce".
Hoffman was a guest on Rome's radio show on Monday, and had to explain to the host that his long, blonde hair isn't a "mullet". Rome disagreed. You can become a member of the Jim Rome show and listen to the entire interview. Listen to Jim Rome interview.
Hoffman is back home in San Diego preparing for the Buick Invitational, an event he played in as a teenager.
