Junior golf program leads the way for tournaments, clinics, more
The First Tee of Southern Nevada, the leading youth golf organization that enriches lives and develops better citizens, ensures that participants learn the fundamentals of golf and its inherent values by providing accessible and affordable golf experiences including the skills curriculum based "Golf Fore Kids" development program, the SNJGA Tour competitive tournament program, and the "Driving the Dream" scholarship program for higher education.
The dedicated staff at the First Tee of Southern Nevada works to create quality in everything they do from organizing the largest junior tournament schedule in Southern Nevada to offering an opportunity to learn the game and the life skills associated with it to those that might not otherwise have the chance.
The Southwest Section, Las Vegas Chapter, PGA are supporters of the program, and the Las Vegas Founders are the founding sponsor.
Past alumni of the program, that came into being after a merger between the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association and the Southern Nevada Inner-City Youth Golf Associaton, include PGA Tour players Robert Gamez and Craig Barlow, and LPGA Tour player Stephanie Louden, among others.
