Over the last 10 years, Davis has traveled to a dozen major national teaching summits, attended about 40 other seminars, and personally talked and spent time with eight of the top 100 teachers including Gary Wiren, David Glenz and Scott Sackett. And he spent numerous hours reading the best golf instruction books available.

Davis shares his time at all of the Walters Golf Las Vegas Golf courses. Those include Desert Pines Golf Club, Desert Pines Practice Center, Royal Links Golf Club, Bali Hai Golf Club, and he also works out of the EAGL-Golf managed Stallion Mountain Country Club.

"I am honored to receive this award at this time," says Davis. "I am also delighted with the way our profession has progressed over the last 20 years. There are more dedicated and knowledgeable instructors than ever before, and to be included in this list is an honor. I have worked hard over the last 10 years to improve myself, and this is a validation of those efforts."

Davis is one of the few top-rated instructors to still offer private instruction, and he is accepting new students.

This award joins a long list of other recognition for Davis. He has been honored 13 different times as the Teacher of the Year by the Southwest Section PGA, Las Vegas Chapter PGA, Oregon PGA and Northwest PGA. He has won the award here in Las Vegas for six-straight years.
