Rees Jones is known as the "U.S. Open Doctor", for his work at re-working aging golf courses in order to keep them up to the USGA's high standards. And he is annually named to golf's most influential lists. But what do a lot of people call him and ask him about? The Cascata Golf Club, one of Las Vegas golf's most intriguing courses, of course.

Cascata Golf Club is a fascinating golf journey played in the hills overlooking Boulder City, a non-gambling town located about 35 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Each hole is a private golf journey, and Cascata is golf paradise found.
"Of all the golf courses I have designed, I get the most calls about Cascata," said Jones recently for a feature in VegasGolfer Magazine. "Our goal was to create a course that looked natural in the desert, and to use the native surroundings to create the atmosphere for the course."
Cascata is owned by Harrah's Entertainment, and is the sister course to Rees Jones' Rio Secco Golf Club, located about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, and home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf.
