Foursome of Las Vegas Golf Pros Cash at the NISSAN Open

A fearsome foursome of Las Vegas golfers made the cut at the NISSAN Open, but none contended for the title. But three-time Las Vegas Invitational champion Jim Furyk had a solid week, finishing in a tie for 3rd place at 13-under par.

Henderson resident Craig Barlow led the Vegas PGA pros with a tie for 62nd. Former UNLV Rebels Charley Hoffman and Adam Scott finished in a tie for 69th, while another former UNLV Chad Campbell finished in a tie for 77th. And Rebel and Southern Highlands resident Ryan Moore, former Las Vegas high school player Robert Gamez and Las Vegas resident Dean Wilson all missed the cut.

All of these players honed their game on the great Las Vegas golf courses including Shadow Creek Golf Club, Southern Highlands Golf Club, Bali Hai Golf Club, Rio Secco Golf Club, TPC Canyons, TPC Summerlin and many others.

Defending Las Vegas PGA Tour Champion Troy Matteson is also in the event but missed the cut.
