The UNLV Lady Rebels Golf team recently finished in 12th place at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by one of the nation's best teams, the University of Arizona. Eleven teams ranked in the Top 25 played in the event that was won by second-ranked Arizona State. The Lady Rebels are in action next when they host the UNLV Spring Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club, right here in Las Vegas (well, Boulder City), beginning March 12. At that event, Amy Bush, the Southwest Section, Las Vegas Chapter PGA Pro of the Year, will debut as the new assistant coach for the team, joining head coach Missy Ringler.

Bush has been serving as Las Vegas PGA Chapter Coordinator, but leaves that position for this new opportunity. The Las Vegas PGA board is currently interviewing applicants to fill the role left by Bush.

At the Wildcat Invitational the Lady Rebels were led by senior Seema Sedaker who finished in a tie for 34th.
