March 26, 2007–Four PGA Tour pros with Las Vegas ties played in the CA Championship over the weekend, with Dean Wilson, a fairly new Las Vegas resident, leading the way with a 16th place finish, earning $87,333 and 420 FedEx Cup Points.

Former UNLV Rebel Chad Campbell was next, finishing in a tie for 35th, good for $56,500 and 116 points.

Two other former Rebels, Adam Scott and Charley Hoffman, finished tied for 61st, earning $40,250 each and 57 FedEx Cup points.

There are a minimum of 11 players with strong Las Vegas ties who have some kind of exempt status on the PGA Tour. All of these players have spent numerous hours on Las Vegas golf courses including TPC Summerlin, Southern Highlands Golf Club, Las Vegas Golf Club, Rio Secco Golf Club, Las Vegas National Golf Club and many more.
