March 28, 2007–The UNLV men's golf team moved up to No. 6 in the nation in the latest edition of the Golfstat rankings after winning the team title at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

The Rebels home Las Vegas golf course is Southern Highlands Golf Club. The Golfstat rankings show the official record of UNLV and other schools against each other head to head. UNLV is 278-7 head-to-head against Division I competition, and 16-6 against the Top 25.

Stanford is No. 1 in the rankings, followed by Georgia, Alabama, USC and Oklahoma State. UNLV, which has recorded five top-five finishes this year and two wins, is sixth and is followed by Lamar, Clemson, Florida and UCLA.

Individually, UNLV has three players ranked in the nation's top 100: Jarred Texter is 25th, Ryan Keeney is 81st and C.J. Gatto is 83rd.

UNLV will return to action April 2-3 at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.
