TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 6 UNLV men’s golf team shot a final-round 6-over-par 294 on Tuesday at the National Invitational Tournament at OMNI Tucson National (par 72, 7,200 yards) and finished in seventh place.
The Rebels finished the 54-hole tournament at 4-over 868.
Arizona State shot a final-round 14-under 274 and won the team title with a score of 24-under 840. UCLA finished eight shots back in second place at 16-under 848. Host Arizona and Tulsa each tied for third at 12-under, while Texas A&M rounded out the top five at 9-under.
The UNLV Mens home golf course is the exclusive Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Arizona State’s Niklas Lemke captured the individual title with a 9-under 207 after shooting a final-round 5-under 67. Arizona State’s Benjamin Alvarado and Tulsa’s Ryan Henry both tied for second at 8-under.
UNLV’s best finish was turned in by Seung-su Han, who finished tied for fifth at 5-under 211 after shooting a final-round 3-under 69.
Other Rebel final-round scores and finishes: Eddie Olson (74, T23rd at even-par 216), Jarred Texter (73; T55th at 6-over 222), C.J. Gatto (78, T64th at 9-over 225) and Brett Kanda (79; T68th at 12-over 228).
The Rebels will return to action at the ASU/Thunderbird Invitational on April 13-15.
