April 13, 2007–Lake Las Vegas Resort resident Natalie Gulbis broke out of somewhat of a slump at the GINN Open in Florida, the LPGA Tour event played April 12-15. Gulbis opened with a solid 69 and then followed up that solid round with two more to be in solid contention heading into Sunday. But a disastrous final round 80 tumbled her to a tie for 11th and about $44,000 in prize money. Champion Brittany Lincicome pocketed $390,000.

Gulbis is known as one of the world's best players, but she has struggled recently. She lives on the fairways of Las Vegas golf course Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Other Las Vegas golf LPGA Tour players Kim Hall, Stephanie Louden and Erica Blasberg all missed the cut.
