May 10, 2007–Former UNLV Star Adam Scott is currently ranked as the fourth best player in the world, but he tells USA Today that he isn't satisfied with that ranking, and wants to move up at least a couple spots to number two in the world. Sure, he wants to be number one–who doesn't–but he is realistic when looking up at who he has to catch. "Tiger is so far ahead of everyone … " he told USA Today writer Steve Dimeglio this week at THE PLAYERS Championship. "Being No. 2 is sort of like being No. 1. But I'm just going to keep working hard and keep going out there and keep trying." Scott has won 11 tournaments worldwide, including the 2004 PLAYERS Championship, and is a solid pick to win again this week. And if he does, it will be against golf's toughest field of the year as 29 of the top 30 players in the world are in Florida for the event, and 48 out of the top 50.
