May 30, 2007–Two UNLV men's golfers were named to the PING All-Pacific Region as the Golf Coaches Association of America handed out its annual awards. Junior Jarred Texter and sophomore Seung-su Han were UNLV's two representatives selected to the Pacific Region squad. This year marks the second straight season that Texter was named all-region. Both Texter and Han were also named to the All-Mountain West Conference team in April. UNLV golf's home course is Las Vegas golf course Southern Highlands Golf Club.
Each of the nine PING All-Region teams consist of the tip 15 individual golfers in their respective region in the individual ranking system. Additionally, any player ranked in the top 75 nationally according to Golfstat or the Sagarin rankings not included in their region's top 15 were added to their all-region team. Members of the team are now eligible for PING All-America honors, which will be announced following the NCAA Division I Championships.
