October 14,2007–The names at the top of the FRYS.com Open leaderboard are a who's who from the world of golf. Well, not like a who's who of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickleson and Vijay Singh. But a real "who?" the heck is that? George McNeil, Robert Garrigus, DJ Trahan, Kent Jones, John Huston, Garrett Willis and Bo Van Pelt were the top seven names on the leaderboard heading into sunday, and Van Pelt was the only one among them ranked in the top one hundred (58) on the money list. The combined average ranking of the group was 139th, with Willis ranked the lowest at 213. But this is Vegas and a jackpot and life changing moment is waiting for one of these players. The winner will earn a two-year exemption, and a wheel barrel full of cash. And the money will spend just like if it was won in a tournament that featured the biggest names in golf. Las Vegan Bob May, who is 217th on the money list, is in eighth place entering Sunday. Other Las Vegas golfers remaining in the field include Bill Lunde (T27), ALex Cejka (T60), Andres Gonzales (T76), Ryan Moore (T60), Chad Campbell (T60). LIVE SCORING.
