November 28, 2007–UNLV freshman Therese Koelbaek has been selected the Mountain West Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month for November, the first league honor for Koelbaek. Koelbaek, a Holte, Denmark, native, turned in the best performance of her career, winning the USF/Richmond Country Club Invitational at the beginning of November. She finished with a three-round total of two-over 215 (75-71-69) on the 5,955-yard, par-71 course in San Francisco, Calif. Koelbaek carded a two-under 69 on the final day of the tournament to earn medalist honors and finish first out of 49 total individuals. Her third-round 69, a personal season-low, currently ranks tied for first in the league with New Mexico’s Jodi Ewart and UNLV’s Alejandra Guacaneme.
