March 1, 2009–The Chase at PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs has piled up the awards from several top golf publications as one of the best new courses in 2008. This Jack Nicklaus design is located about 50 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, and is the first jewel in the emerging master-planned community of Coyote Springs. And now golfers can get a free round of golf at The Chase with a purchase of a Signature Club card that offers cardholders discounts on green fees.
The Signature Club at The Chase offers players $25 off per golfer on the cost of the round that includes the golf green fee, use of the practice facility and balls prior to play, use of a shared golf cart during the round, tees, and the forecaddie bag fee. Green fees do not include the suggested minimum caddie gratuity of $30 per player. The Chase is a Forecaddie mandatory facility. The Chase partners with the American Caddie Corporation. Nevada residents can receive special loyalty discounts and deals.
The Chase is the first golf course in a planned series of Jack Nicklaus-designed courses that will flow throughout the Coyote Springs community. The course plays to a par 72 and ranges from 5,349 yards from the forward tees to 7,471 yards from the championship tees. Eleven lakes come into play on the golf course many consider to be one of Nicklaus' finest desert creations.
The Chase was named the number 2 new golf course in the United States by Golf Digest and number 3 by GOLF Magazine. The Chase is also an official PGA of America golf facility and has been dubbed the "New home of golf in the west." Coyote Springs is an emerging city with plans calling for thousands of homes, a resort, schools, and all of the other conveniences found in a community. Also, Links Magazine recently named is as one of the best new golf courses in America.
The Chase course is the first project to officially open but much of the infrastructure is in place. Plans are also in the works for the first co-design by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus to debut at PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs. The course has been designed and golfers who play The Chase can see some of the hole locations as they drive around the property.
