Jack Nicklaus' Chase Offers Deals May 30, 2009–We can't say it enough, but now is the time to be playing Las Vegas golf courses. The summer Las Vegas golf rates and deals are here, Las Vegas' golf courses are in great shape, and there are Las Vegas hotel deals all over as well. Now comes word that Las Vegas golfers can play Jack Nicklaus' award-winning Coyote Springs, located about 50 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, for Las Vegas golf rates starting at $65, through August 30.

The Chase at PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs is the latest Jack Nicklaus golf course in Las Vegas, and brings his legendary design flare to life. The course opened in 2008, and it has been very difficult to keep track of the many accolades that have been heaped upon the dazzling new design. Seemingly every golf publication of note has named The Chase as one of the best new golf courses in America. Golf Digest ranked it second best in a recent poll while GOLF Magazine ranked it number three. Several other publications also have it listed very highly.

"Fortunately, it's good enough to justify the drive (from Las Vegas), with some of the most artfully crafted bunkers and greens of Jack's career," is how the editors at GOLF Magazine described the course. "The Chase is a monument to thoughtful shotmaking." The $65 rate is for Las Vegas golf tee times after 11 AM with no caddie, while other rates in the morning are more but also include a caddie. As a note, most golf courses in Las Vegas offer the best Las Vegas golf rates and deals on the official golf course websites.

Coyote Springs is a new project emerging from the desert that is north of Las Vegas, with major plans calling for thousands of homes, more golf courses, and basically a new city. Currently, The Chase is the main reason to visit the area, and as the GOLF editors stated, it's worth the drive. In addition, Coyote Springs is the western home of the PGA of America. The course developers entered into a partnership with the PGA of America, and plans call for a learning center and more in he coming years.

Currently, and for the first time, there are "caddie optional rates" and "caddie mandatory" rates for The Chase. "The courses we are now planning for Coyote Springs will use and enhance this rare landscape to offer players of every skill level a golf experience which is enjoyable, challenging and memorable," Nicklaus said prior to the opening of the course. "We want golfers to come back to Coyote Springs time and again, and upon each visit, we hope they will find something new and exciting about the golf experience." Plans for the future call for a signature Pete Dye/Jack Nicklaus course that is already plotted and ready to go.
