Entertainment, Tom Fazio Las Vegas Golf Courses Go Together at Primm Valley

Stars Shine at Primm Valley June 19, 2009–Primm Valley Golf Club is the home of two Tom Fazio-designed Las Vegas golf courses, the Lakes and Desert, that have been ranked highly by national golf publications. These Las Vegas golf courses are located in Primm, Nevada, about 35 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Also in Primm are several hotels with casinos and other entertainment options, including celebrity entertainment.

A few of the performers coming to Primm to perform at the Star of the Desert arena are verified golf lovers including comedian Bill Engwall and members of Huey Lewis and the News. Engwall has played several Las Vegas golf courses on past trips to this area including DragonRidge Country Club, Spanish Trail Country Club, and others. No word yet on if he will work in a round or two on the Primm's Las Vegas golf courses. Engwall plays in Primm on June 27th while Huey Lewis and the News play on July 29th.

Other acts coming to Primm include Snoop Dogg, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Reba, Chris Isaak, The Beach Boys, Barenaked Ladies , Aretha Franklin, Big and Rich featuring Cowboy Troy, America, Christopher Cross, Sugarland, and many others. The Las Vegas golf courses at Primm Valley have received the following recognition from respected golf publications: 4.5 stars out of 5 by Golf Digest; Best Overall Course, VegasGolfer Magazine (Lakes); Top 100 You Can Play by Golf Magazine; and several others.

Both the Lakes and Desert (don't let the name fool you; it's a friendly desert course) are solid Las Vegas golf choices and offer typical Fazio flare from beautiful water features to majestic bunkerng to holes that offer trememdous views of the surrounding mountains.
