August 5, 2009–The 2010 OB Sports Golf Card is now on sale and you can be a cardholder at five Las Vegas golf courses. With its purchase, cardholders and their accompanied guests (three per day) save substantially on green fees at four popular Las Vegas golf facilities–Aliante Golf Club, Angel Park Golf Club, The Legacy Golf Club and new this year, PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs, designed by Jack Nicklaus–for a total of five Las Vegas golf courses (plus a par 3). Clark County residents may purchase the OB Sports Golf Card during the early-bird sale for only $99 and after August 31 for $149. Las Vegas golfers outside of Clark County may purchase the card for $249. Click now to purchase your official OB Sports Golf Card.
The main, but not the only, attraction of the golf card is low year-round green fees that range from $35 to $55 (varies seasonally) at Angel Park, Aliante and The Legacy and range from $55 to $110 (varies seasonally) at PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs. Uniquely, cardholders are allowed to bring three accompanied guests per day for the same low green fees. As part of the Travel Benefits, cardholders receive low rates at several other OB Sports-affiliated golf clubs throughout the United States (see www.obsports.com/travel for a complete listing). PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs is an affiliate course participating in the 2010 card program, but is not managed by OB Sports. Although Coyote Springs honors most of the benefits of the card, some variation and/or restrictions may apply.
“Now more than ever golfers are looking for value and the 2010 OB Sports Golf Card continues to serve up a tremendous golf value for golfers in Southern Nevada,” said Phil Green, President of OB Sports Golf Management. “Our cardholders are passionate about the game of golf and they have proven they can play more and save more along the way by purchasing the OB Sports Golf Card.”
Angel Park Golf Club is 36 Las Vegas golf holes of Arnold Parlmer golf plus a clubhouse and patio with great views, a lighted par 3, putting course, and practice area, and a new event lawn that overlooks the valley. The Legacy Golf Club is an Arthur Hills design that is home to one of the most infamous holes in Las Vegas golf, the par 3 10th hole that features each tee box in the design of a suit in a deck of cards. Aliante Golf Club is a Gary Panks design located in northwest Las Vegas within a seven-iron of the new Aliante Station hotel and casino. The Chase course at PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs is located about 55 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip but features a Nicklaus golf course that was on every list of the best new golf courses created in 2008. Other benefits to the card include a USGA handicap, travel benefits, savings on apparel, and member tournaments throughout the year. As in past years, one lucky OB Sports cardholder will drive away in a new Toyota. And this year, Desert Toyota is going green by giving away a new Toyota Prius as part of OB Sports Card program. The names of 40 cardholders will be drawn over a five-month period (eight per month from Aug. to Dec.). Then, in January, all 40 finalists will gather at Angel Park Golf Club for a putting contest. Last year Las Vegas resident, Andrew Hardin, drove off in a new Toyota Camry courtesy of Desert Toyota http://www.deserttoyotalasvegas.com/
In addition to the great savings in the Las Vegas area, cardholders receive reduced green fees at other OB Sports-affiliated golf clubs throughout the United States including: We-Ko-Pa Golf Club in Fort McDowell, Ariz.; Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.; Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills, Ariz.; Tijeras Creek in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; Hunter’s Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.; Three Crowns Golf Club in Casper, Wyo.; Sandia Golf Club in Albuquerque, N.M.; High Meadow Ranch in Magnolia, Tex.; Centennial Golf Club in Medford, Ore.; The Oaks Golf Club in Biloxi, Miss. and more.
