Las Vegas, Nevada (August 5, 2010)–The GOLF Magazine Top 100 Courses You Can Play list is anxiously awaited by golfers and golf course management. The 2010 list is out and several Las Vegas Golf Region courses have made the Top 100 including Shadow Creek (17), Cascata (55), Wolf Creek Golf Club (60) and Wynn Golf and Country Club (66). Each were also on the list in 2008. Fazio designed both Shadow Creek Golf Club and Wynn. Jones was the architect of Cascata. In total, the Top 100 features courses that have hosted 14 major championships. Shadow Creek is operated by MGM Resorts International, and is open to guests staying at any of their hotels which include MGM Grand, Bellagio, Mirage, and others. Cascata was designed by Rees Jones and is owned by Harrah's Entertainment but is open to all golfers. Wolf Creek Golf Club is located in Mesquite, Nevada, a golfing destination located about 77 miles north of the Las Vegas Strip.
