Las Vegas, Nevada (March 1, 2011)–March Madness is near and Las Vegas golf courses are partnering with Las Vegas hotels to feature Las Vegas golf packages. And The Chase at Coyote Springs, designed by Jack Nicklaus, can be combined with the Golden Nugget Hotel for stay and play Las Vegas golf packages. The Chase is located about 50 minutes north of Las Vegas but was named to every best of list when it opened in 2009. —Staff Report.

Rates for rounds and rooms start at $125 but are seasonal. The Golden Nugget is located in downtown Las Vegas and is considered one of the most historic resorts in Las Vegas. 

The Chase was included on the best new courses list by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and  Links Magazine. The course plays to a par 72 and ranges from 5,349 yards from the forward tees to 7,471 yards from the championship tees. Eleven lakes come into play on the golf course many consider to be one of Nicklaus' finest desert creations.

Also coming later this year is a special 2nd Annual Coyote Classic Pro-Am. Included are two tournament rounds, one practice round at The Chase, four nights lodging at Treasure Island (single occupancy rooms) – Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues, Welcome party at Treasure Island Casino Resort, Poker tourney, Box Lunch Sunday & Monday, BBQ Dinner & Awards Banquet Tuesday at Coyote Springs, Tee Gifts, and a HUGE Purse.
