Las Vegas, Nevada (August 3, 2011)–The management of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is looking for golf fans ready to volunteer. Who knows, if you volunteer you might be right in the middle of the action for some of the most exciting shots in Las Vegas golf history. In 2010, there were volunteers inside the ropes when Jonathan Byrd knocked his tee shot in the hole on the par 3, 17th hole, thus becoming the first golfer in the history of the PGA Tour to win with a 'walk off' hole in one. Join the Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open team and register to be a volunteer, Sept. 25—Oct. 2, 2011 at TPC Summerlin. By assisting with the tournament, volunteers are supporting the life-changing work of Shriners Hospitals for Children and its mission to provide specialty pediatric care for children, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Volunteers can donate their time to a variety of committees including player/volunteer services, admissions, operations, event services and more.
