Las Vegas, Nevada (September 1, 2011)–Dustin Johnson won his second career PGA Tour FedEx Cup Playoffs event last week at The Barclays. And a big part of it was his use of the TaylorMade White Driver technology that is available at Las Vegas Golf and Tennis. And, for good measure, just before The Barclays, Johnson was part of a promotion where be donned a FedEx driver uniform and delivered the one millionth TaylorMade driver to an unsuspecting recipient. —By Brian Hurlburt

What is very cool for Las Vegas is that the new Las Vegas Golf and Tennis SuperStore located near the Las Vegas Strip (Tropicana and Dean Martin) is the home of a TaylorMade Fitting Center–the only of its kind in Las Vegas and one of the few in the country–where all Las Vegas golfers–visiting and local–can get custom fit for TaylorMade White technology and learn every aspect of their swing. And as of September, Las Vegas Golf and Tennis is where you can find the new TaylorMade White irons. And you can check out how to get your own TaylorMade driver similar to Johnson's.

Johnson has a tie to the Las Vegas Golf Region as well. He works with Las Vegas Golf Region resident Butch Harmon. Harmon operates the Butch Harmon School of Golf at Las Vegas' Rio Secco Golf Club. Rio Secco is the home of the beautiful T-Mates female caddies. Click for T-Mates photos.

Johnson carried a TaylorMade R11 driver with a 9 degree loft at The Barclays. In addition, he had a R9 fairway metals of 15 degree and 19 degree lofts. "With the help of TMaG Tour Staffer Dustin Johnson and our friends at FedEx, we delivered the one millionth white metalwood – a custom R11 driver – to a lucky golfer named Patrick Spina at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey," reads a post at the official Facebook page of TaylorMade. "Dustin, disguised as a FedEx delivery driver, helped us surprise Patrick with his custom driver order and a special "No. 1,000,000" package containing a gold-plated R11 driver as a keepsake to celebrate the moment" Click to view the millionth-driver moments video with Johnson who was quite funny in the video.
