As a player, Nicklaus won six different PGA Tour events played in Las Vegas over the years including the Tournament of Champions. He also has been quoted as saying that he holed the longest putt of his entire career in an event in Las Vegas (113 feet on #11 at the old Desert Inn). As a golf course architect, he has designed three other Las Vegas golf courses in addition to Bear's Best Las Vegas.
