The three Las Vegas golf courses at Summerlin are located in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley and offer tremendous views of the Las Vegas valley. Highland Falls Golf Club was named a reader's favorite in the 2011 Las Vegas Review-Journal poll.
Early booking is recommended for these Las Vegas golf deals because the tee sheet for a deal like this will fill up quickly. Follow Golf Summerlin on Facebook www.facebook.com/golfsummerlin or Twitter @GolfSummerlinLV.
Eagle Crest Golf Club is Las Vegas Golf, executive style, at its finest. Fun is the best way to describe this jewel that is home to 12 par 3 holes, and 6 par fours. You will play in about three hours, and you will pay a value rate for the experience.
Highland Falls is the most dramatic layout of the three, and is highlighted with great views of the Las Vegas valley, and of the Spring Mountains to the north. The course winds through the pretty Sun City neighborhoods. The 18th hole is a great test for golfers. The par-4, dogleg right plays 387 yards. Water runs from tee to green on the right, while the left is guarded by native landscaping. The green is well protected by twin sloping bunkers on the left and a beautiful lake on right.
Palm Valley opened in 1989 as the first of the Golf Summerlin layouts, and is arguable the best. It measures just more than 6,500 yards, and boasts four reachable par 5 holes for big hitters. The toughest hole of the GolfSummerlin trifecta is the par 3, 16th at Palm Valley that plays 229 yards to a tough green.
