Las Vegas, Nevada (December 9, 2013)–The home of professional golf in Las Vegas–TPC Las Vegas–is offering loyal locals in Las Vegas a special rate of only $40 through December 14 as part of the annual Golf Fore Kids campaign. Any local can earn this special Las Vegas golf rate with the donation of a new toy that is a value of at least $20. The event, which began on November 28, is one of several charitable events that is hosted by the course. Special visitor rates are also availabe during December and January. –By Brian Hurlburt.

TPC Las Vegas was designed by PGA TOUR Architectural Design Services lead architect Bobby Weed with consultation by Raymond Floyd. The course is always up to PGA Tour conditions, and is the home away from the PGA TOUR for many of the professionals who live in Las Vegas. Among the PGA TOUR pros who play and practice at TPC Las Vegas are Charley Hoffman, Bill Lunde, Nick Watney, and Ryan Moore, among others. Each has won at least one PGA TOUR event in their career.

If you don't live in Las Vegas and aren't eligible for the Golf Fore Kids campain, but wish to tee it up at TPC Las Vegas this holiday season, click now for season rates and Las Vegas golf stay and play packages available at the course. Rates are always lower than peak season during the winter season and most of time the weather is very good.

Besides the special opportunity for Clark County residents to play a PGA TOUR course for only $40 with a donation, TPC Las Vegas will also be the site of the 15th Annual National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) Celebrity Golf Tournament on January 9, 2014. The event gathers a who's who of celebrities together to raise money and awareness for the mission of the NCMEC.

Also on January 11-12 is the annual Birdies For the Brave event which will be played at TPC Summerlin, the siser course to TPC Las Vegas. The Birdies for the Brave event is sponsored by the SHOT Show and benefits the organizations that are supported by PGA TOUR players. Birdies for the Brave is a military outreach initiative proudly supported by the PGA TOUR that is dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Since 2005, the TOUR has joined with PGA TOUR players and corporate partners to raise over $13M for military homefront groups that directly serve military men, women, and families. This event is open to the public and special silent auction and dinner will be held on January 11 prior to the golf on January 12 at the home course of the PGA TOUR's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
