Las Vegas, Nevada (January 23, 2014)–There are three cool Las Vegas golf courses designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash that make up the Golf Summerlin trifecta. And now the staff and pros at the courses will be offering special "101 beginning golf clinics" to help introduce the game. The clinics will be conducted by the top-level professional staff of the courses and be held at Eagle Crest Golf Club. The four-session, weekly clinic (both co-ed and women only sessions will be held) is only $100 for all four, and will include two free rounds of golf at Eagle Crest plus a practice range card. Individual clinic sessions can be purchased for $30 each. Contact the Eagle Crest pro shop at 702.240.1320 for reservations and details. Sessions begin the week of March 4 for co-ed and March 6 for women only. –By Brian Hurlburt
Golfers are welcome to bring their own clubs or clubs can be provided by the course. The weekly clinic sessions will feature golf instruction focusing on putting, chipping and the short game, irons, and woods. Each session will last about 1.5 hours. A special 102 session will be held in April for those golfers wishing to continue with the game.
Golf Summerlin features the executive Eagle Crest Golf Club plus two 18-hole layouts, Highland Falls Golf Club and Palm Valley Golf Club. Each of the courses was designed by esteemed architect Greg Nash in addition to World Golf Hall of Famer Billy Casper. The holes wander through the neighborhoods of Sun City Summerlin, an active-adult living community but the course are a challege for all golfers. Ready to play?
