Ely, Nevada, is located about four hours north of Las Vegas and is the home of a fun and challenging 18-hole course. The event at White Pine Golf Club raises funds for scholarships for graduating Ely students and includes a wine tasting pre-party on Friday, June 6 prior to the tournament and post-round steak BBQ on Saturday, June 7. White Pine Golf Club has a good reputation with golfers and PGA TOUR and Champions PGA TOUR winner Jay Don Blake has played the course several times and owns the course record. The Ely Rotary is an active group and raises thousands of dollars annually to help fund the educations of deserving Ely youth.
The entry fee for the Ely Rotary golf tournament is $125 per player and includes the wine tasting and steak BBQ in addition to golf. Players will also be eligible for a $15,000 hole-in-one prize and special drawings throughout the event. Ely, Nevada, is a town of about 3,500.
