Kemper is an accomplished professional who grew up in Miami, Florida. At the age of 12, he became friends with Bruce Fleisher and at the age of 16 became a junior student of the legendary Bob Toski (Recently inducted into the PGA Hall of Fame). After attending UC Santa Barbara on a golf scholarship, he became a teaching professional at Montecito Country Club in Santa Barbara as well as teaching for Bob Toski in many of his golf schools.
After playing on many golf tours around the country, Mitch became friends with Larry Rinker, Steve Pate, Mark Weibe and the Late Great Payne Stewart, whom he caddied for on the PGA Tour from 1982-83. Mitch is most grateful to have learned the game under Bob Toski, the experience he had on the PGA Tour and the relationships he still maintains with these great golfers.
