Las Vegas, Nevada (October 4, 2014)–This is a golf event that is becoming an annual tradition, and is one of the most unique in the Las Vegas Golf Region. The second annual Glow Ball Night at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Golf Summerin will be Oct. 11, and is presented in conjunction with course management and Three Square Food Bank. The tournament raises funds and awareness for the Backpacks for Kids program. Eagle Crest is one of three Las Vegas golf courses at Golf Summerlin and is an executive, par 60 course which is perfect for a night, glow ball tournament. The Glow Ball Night, which is played in a two-person, scramble format, is unique and fun, and what better way to spend an evening in Las Vegas than by playing night golf. Golfers of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to play in the event. Eagle Crest was designed by golf architect Greg Nash with consultation by World Golf Hall of Fame member Billy Casper. Tremendous views of the city can be seen from the tee boxes and fairways of Eagle Crest. The views are better at night and make playing in the Glow Ball event even more enjoyable.
