Las Vegas, Nevada (July 23, 2015)–The Southern Nevada Golf Association Pacific Links Amateur was played over three courses in three days and champions in four divisions were determined. The tournament was played at SouthShore Golf Club, Southern Highlands Golf Club and DragonRidge Country Club. Shane Sigsbee won the Championship Division while 2015 Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame inductee Doug Pool won the Senior Division. In the Championship Division, Former Foothill High School golfer Andrew Chu, who has signed to play golf at Dixie State, was second with rounds of 70-74-71—215. Darrell Lutey, a longtime amateur in Southern Nevada, was third following by Frank Frisbee.
Pool, who will be inducted into the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame on October 16 at TPC Summerlin, ran away with the senior division with rounds of 71-75-73—219. Cyrus Whitney finished second with rounds of 76-77-73—226. Frank Acker, who already is a member of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame, finished in a tie for third with Gary Carpendale.
