Las Vegas, Nevada (September 10, 2015)–Glowing golf balls will be flying in the night sky on October 3rd for the annual Fall Glow Ball Night Golf Tournament at Las Vegas golf course Eagle Crest, the fun executive layout that is a part of the Golf Summerlin trio of Vegas courses. The event benefits Three Square Food Bank’s Backpacks for Kids Program. The evening golf event, which is a two-person scramble, is perfect for golfers of all skill levels and ages, and is just plain ole fun. It truly is one of the most unique golf tournaments on the Las Vegas golf schedule. Event registration is $45 per person and includes a $20 donation to Three Square, light appetizers donated by Cantina Laredo at Tivoli Village, dessert donated by Whole Foods Market, 9 holes of golf and one glow-in-the-dark golf ball, and more. Additional opportunities to give to the local charity will also be made available through raffles, the purchase of extra golf balls and more.
Registration is open at the Eagle Crest Golf Course pro shop beginning Sept. 1. The field is limited. Each player must bring a flashlight for use while driving the golf carts around the course. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at 6 p.m. The course will be even more dazzling in 2015 with additional lights decorating the course and added surprises throughout the evening.
Established in 2007 to provide hunger relief, Three Square Food Bank offers wholesome, nutritious food to non-profit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans.
