Las Vegas, Nevada (September 19, 2015)–The Coronado Cougars High School boys and girls basketball teams are traveling to Alaska and other localesĀ for tournaments during the upcoming season, and to help raise funds for the trip, the school has announced the inaugural Coronado Cougars Basketball and Cheer Golf Classic to be played at Revere Golf Club on Nov. 11. The cheer squad also travels to national competitions so the tournament will benefit the cheerleaders as well. Revere Golf Club is the home of two Las Vegas golf courses, each designed by the design duo of architect Greg Nash and World Golf Hall of Famer, the late Billy Casper. The courses are located in the hills above the Las Vegas valley and offer wonderful views and vistas of Las Vegas and surrounding mountains.

The motto of Coronado High School is “Excellence by Design” and that is students strive for that on the court and in the classroom. Both the Coronado boys and girls teams made the playoffs in 2015 and look ahead to solid seasons in 2015-16. The cheerleading program also plays at a high-level placing well both in in-state competitions and out-of-state competitions.

Tee sponsorships are available for $150 for the the tournament in addition to a presenting sponsorship available for $2750.
