The annual Las Vegas World Amateur combines the best of Vegas golf and hospitality into one amazing and competitive week of golf each winter, providing a respite the cold weather for golfers from around the world. Officials from the Southern Nevada Golf Association have announced that registration is now open for the fourth annual tournament that is scheduled for Feb. 22-226, 2016, in Las Vegas and at some of the best courses in the city.
“The word we continually here from our past participants is ‘wow’ when they are asked how to describe the Las Vegas World Amateur,” said Ann Sunstrum, Southern Nevada Golf Association. “We are thrilled to offer our fourth annual event and we already have seen a strong interest from returning players who have signed up, plus many of those golfers are the best ambassadors for the tournament and are helping invite golfing friends to play in the tournament in 2016.”
An early bird entry fee of $575 is now available, but expires Nov. 15, 2015. Golfers will experience on the course action plus off the course entertainment and hospitality that is unmatched anywhere in the world. Players must have a verified USGA handicap to participate.
The Las Vegas World Amateur package includes:
— 54 holes of tournament golf (different course each day)
— Potential fourth 18-hole tournament round (for qualifiers after round 3)
