Las Vegas, Nevada (Oct. 18. 2015)–It was Golf Jam Weekend at the TaylorMade Golf Experience on the Las Vegas Strip. And the inaugural event went live with contests, TaylorMade Golf M1 driver and PSi irons, live music, blowout golf deals, demo days with major golf brands, food and drink specials and more. With each paid admission, guests received a free ticket to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, free range balls during Golf Jam, a $10 gift card to Las Vegas Golf and Tennis, and a free walking round of golf at TaylorMade Golf Experience on a return trip to the facility. A main TaylorMade Golf Jam highlight on day one was tours of the TaylorMade Golf Tour truck. Plus the TaylorMade Golf factory fitting team was in Las Vegas and meeting and fitting Golf Jam guests. The custom fitting is offered 9 am – 5 pm on Saturday by the factory reps and all day both days by TaylorMade Golf Experience fitting professionals. The event offers golfers the chance to take home the new M1 and PSi clubs immediately, one of the first chances to do so in Las Vegas. Plus there are demos with other major brands including Cobra, Callaway Golf, Mizuno, Odyssey, and Cleveland Golf.

“We are firmly committed to creating events like this, and also hosting similar events such as Golf Fest Vegas, because we believe that golf should be a lot of fun and we have the perfect venue for an event like this,” says Ron Boreta, owner, TaylorMade Golf Experience. “It was terrific to see our great music acts performing on our patio overlooking the range with our majestic view of the Las Vegas Strip. Our customers had a wonderful day and we can’t for day two and then Golf Jam II in 2016. It was a great day of Las Vegas golf and an awesome day for golf, in general.”

Performers on Day One of Golf Jam were The Wedge Brothers, Shawn Eiferman and Stoked. Day two brings back The Wedge Brothers and The Parametrics.

Even with threat of bad weather, the event was crowded all day and more of the same is on tap for Day two, with similar weather issues. The interactive contests included Splash for Cash presented by Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire, Golf Pong presented by Blue Moon Brew Company, the Nerves of Steel Putting Challenge presented by Southern Nevada Golf Association and Las Vegas Junior Golf Association, the Birdie Ball Challenge presented by Golf Mesquite Nevada, the All-In To Win Challenge presented by Harley Davidson Las Vegas and the Do or Die Putting Challenge presented by Odyssey putters.
